Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

When you upload files, we store the file content, filename, file size, MIME type, and a SHA-256 hash for integrity verification.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the file hosting service
• To authenticate your identity and protect your account
• To track upload, download, and usage statistics
• To enforce storage limits and platform policies

Data Storage & Security

Your files are stored using the configured storage driver (local or Google Drive). All passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Sessions are managed via JWT tokens stored in HttpOnly cookies.

We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Access to the platform is restricted to authorized domains only.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Files marked as "public" are accessible via a direct link — only you control the visibility of your files.

Cookies

We use a single HttpOnly cookie (access_token) to manage your login session. No third-party tracking cookies are used.

Your Rights

• You can update your profile information at any time
• You can delete your files at any time
• You can request account deletion by contacting the administrator
